About Karlyn Morissette
DoJo Web Strategy is the brainchild of Karlyn Morissette, a thought leader and innovator in higher education. Throughout her career, Karlyn has pushed the envelope. She was one of the first full-time admissions e-communications managers in the country, pushed email marketing to new heights of segmentation before it was common practice and implemented/managed one of the earliest student blogging programs on the web. Karlyn is hoping to offer other institutions the benefit of her experience in implementing effective web-based strategies given limited resources and while navigating internal politics.
Publications
Karlyn is one of the most prolific bloggers in higher education, publishing regularly on both her personal website www.karlynmorissette.com and as one of six staff writers on .eduGuru. Both blogs are members of BlogHighEd, placing them among the most respected higher education blogs on the web. Both have also been nominated for the 2009 eduStyle Best Higher Education Blog award, to be presented at eduWeb in July.
